I absolutely love the fragrance. It's clean, fresh, lemony and I cannot get enough. Nice large bottle with a really nice atomizer. I just want to drown myself it this fragrance. I cannot get enough of it. This also lasts quite a while in my skin and all day (heavier) on my clothing. It does lighten over time but at the end of my day I could still smell it on my skin.
I unfortunately think I received a bad batch. Smelled nothing like lemons. Had a gross doughy, powdery smell. Going to try and macerate to see if it helps. Bummer! Beautiful bottle though.
This is ok but don't last long
This smells exactly as described: lemon meringue pie. Upon testing, the first notes were sweet (vanilla saltwater taffy), citrusy (fresh lemon), and creamy (meringue). There's a very smooth transition from the first notes to a bouquet (floral) while still retaining a softer, sweet, and citrusy note. It warms up a little (maybe from amber or another resin), and maintains a floral yet soft and sweet citrusy fragrance. If you're not a fan of lemon meringue pie, this can also be compared to baked lemon ricotta, yuzu cheesecake, or a creamy frozen lemonade. As for when to wear, definitely on a date or to a function, unless of course you just want to smell freshly baked and delicious 24/7 I guess. lol.
Ordered another Lattafa (for men) from Amazon and got this by mistake. They credited my account and told me to keep this one anyway. It is great! Yes, it is “feminine” sweet but makes a great male spring or summer scent—who doesn’t like lemon pie and vanilla! A happy mistake!
